What is the policy for returning contact lenses?

This article explains the eligibility requirements, return process, special cases, and frequently asked questions related to returning contact lenses.

Contact Lens Return Policy

If you need to return your contact lenses due to a prescription change, ordering mistake, or other reasons, follow the guidelines below.

Eligibility for Returns

Returns for contact lenses are accepted under the following conditions:

  1. Unopened and unmarked: Only boxes that are completely sealed and free of any markings (e.g., left/right eye notations) are eligible for return. Once a box is opened or marked, it cannot be returned, even if the markings are later removed.

For products sold as a 90-pack, individual 30-pack boxes cannot be returned separately as they are not sold individually.

  1. Original packaging: All boxes must be in their original condition and not tampered with.

Refunds, Replacements, or Store Credit

  • Full Refund: Available within the first 30 days of purchase. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once the return is received and verified.

  • Replacement or Store Credit: Can be requested up to one year (365 days) from the purchase date, including cases where your prescription changes or you no longer need the lenses.

  • Order mistakes: Unopened boxes of the wrong prescription can be returned for a refund or exchange using the standard return process.

The Return Process

To initiate a return or exchange, follow these steps:

  1. Request a prepaid return label: A prepaid label will be emailed to you for shipping the lenses back.

  2. Drop off the package: Take the package to the carrier specified on the return label. Print and affix the prepaid label to the outside of your return package. This label is sufficient for identifying your return even without other documentation.

  3. Properly package the lenses: Securely package your items in a sturdy box (not an envelope) to prevent damage during transit. Ensure the lenses are securely packed to avoid movement or damage.

  4. Include order details: Add a copy of your receipt or packing slip inside the shipment to help process the return efficiently. If you do not have a physical receipt, the order number on the return label is sufficient for identification.

  5. Send your new prescription (if applicable): If you are exchanging lenses due to a prescription change, provide a copy of your updated prescription via email or chat. Do not place the prescription inside the return box.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I return a box that I marked for the left or right eye?

No, contact lens boxes with any markings, such as left/right eye notations, cannot be returned. This applies even if the markings are later removed.

What should I include when returning my shipment?

Make sure to securely package the lenses in a box and include order details like a receipt or packing slip. This helps us process your return efficiently. If you forget to include your order details, the return label will still allow the package to be identified.

How do I exchange lenses after a prescription change?

You can exchange your lenses by providing us with a copy of your updated prescription via chat or email. Once verified, a replacement order can be set up.

What happens if my lenses were damaged during shipment?

Defective lenses can be returned following the same packaging and documentation guidelines outlined in the return process. Contact us directly for further assistance if needed.

Orders Older Than One Year

Returns for orders over one year old are not typically accepted, but exceptions can sometimes be made. Alternatively, consult with your eye doctor about donating or exchanging these lenses.
